11/13/08: Belfast, Northern Ireland - Shawn Michaels beat JBL. JBL came out, and much like was noted at the other live events, cut a really funny promo on Belfast, and why we are all just a bunch of useless monkeys, that have never done anything right, and how his country have saved us every time we needed help. JBL got massive heat here, but it was nothing compared to what he did next. A guy in the crowd had an American flag and he asked Chimel to go and get it. JBL got down on his knees and sang God Bless America to the flag and the crowd went nuts. JBL is an absolute master at getting people to hate him. Shame he's not so good in the ring. Then he said Shawn Michaels would be his opponent. I didn't believe him at first as I hadn't read any of the other reports that said Shawn wrestled. Michaels got a huge pop when he came out, and it was fantastic to see him when we didn't expect it. He got cheered for a long time before the match got started, and it continued for the bulk of the match. It's safe to say he got the loudest reaction of the night. There was good action, and it was great to see Shawn at a house show again. Overall it was the best house show they have done here in ages. Seeing Shawn Michaels unexpectedly, and some of the promos that the heels did really got the crowd going. However being there for the bit after the main event means I will never forget this night, as it was very emotional. (PHOTO HERE)
